Ephesians 1:11 (ESV)

¹¹ In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,

We have an inheritance in Jesus but we will not know what it is unless we read the Word of God consistently. As we read the Word we will see all that Jesus has done for us and he would have gone through it all just for you.

If someone wrote a will and we were to receive from that will but did not go to the reading of it we would never know what belonged to us. The only way to know what Jesus has done for us is to read the Word and listen to the Word preached.

God has provided everything we will ever need through Jesus we need to take hold and receive all that is ours in Christ Jesus. God is our protector, provider, healer, restorer, friend, Father, ALL that we need whatever that may be.

Lay your needs before God because He has the answer and resources you need.

Dear Daughter of Almighty God

Draw near

James 4:8 (ESV)

⁸ Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Draw near to God, when we focus on Jesus we are drawing closer to God as they are one. As we move closer to God He moves closer to us what an awesome image. Just picture yourself walking toward God but He is running to you to be your strength, support, joy, deliverer, protector, healer restorer and so much more.

As our focus is on Jesus He can lead us and guide us through all life throws at us. When our focus is Jesus we are focused on the answer and Jesus can lead us to the Word for help. When our focus is Jesus we will be purified because we will be in the Word of God, it’s the Word of God that renews our mind and so we will not be double-minded.

Staying focused on Jesus means a battle can be raging around us but as we cannot take our eyes of Jesus we will not even know and Jesus will just deal with it.  The picture Jesus gave me was sitting at His table with Him just so focused on Him and all that He is that I did not even know this war was going on around me. Psalm 23:5 says “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;” See yourself sat at that table with Jesus.
