Dear Daughter of Almighty God

Commandment

1 John 4:21 (ESV)

21 And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.

Who is our brother (sister)? For some of us this can be a difficult command. It may be our blood brother/sister or it may be our brother/sister in Christ. We don’t get on with everyone because we are all different but we are still to love one another.

Christs love sees us through

Ears

Galatians 3:2 (ESV)

Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith?

We receive from God by faith. It does not matter what we are waiting for it is all received by faith. It all starts with hope and hope turns into faith which turns into receiving. Faith comes from hearing the Word so where is our faith level at, they will be the same as our hearing level.

Listen, listen, listen

Side

Psalm 118:7 (ESV)

The Lord is on my side as my helper;
I shall look in triumph on those who hate me.

What a helper to have, God himself. The God of the impossible is our helper and always by our side.  We can trust the Lord never to leave us. We will triumph over all situations and over all those who hate us. Forgive those who hate us and allow God to work in their lives.

Our God our hope

The Lord

Psalm 118:6 (ESV)

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear.
What can man do to me?

What a good thing to know ‘the Lord is on our side’ so we really do not have anything to fear. ‘What can man do to us?’ nothing because our God is there. Man cannot take our salvation, our love, our faith, our God or the Word of God from us.

Peace is ours

Free

Psalm 118:5 (ESV)

Out of my distress I called on the Lord;
the Lord answered me and set me free.

We can call on the Lord no matter what we are going through; God is always there it does not matter if the times are good or bad for us. God does not run out on us in our time of need. God always answers us and those answers always set us free.

God our fortress

May live

Amos 5:14 (ESV)

14 Seek good, and not evil,
that you may live;
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you,
as you have said.

I want to live what about you? It says here to seek good that we may live. Seeking evil kills. Also when we seek good ‘the God of hosts will be with us.’ Seeking good does not just benefit us but those around us too as we become better people.

Seek good
