Dear Daughter of Almighty God

Rest in peace

John 14:27 (ESV)
27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Nothing that Jesus gives us or does for us is like the world because Jesus is not of this world. We are to be at peace, our hearts should not be troubled as Jesus knows what is up a head and is ready. We have nothing to fear as Jesus is our protection, our shield, our refuge, our strength. So we need to learn to live in the peace of Jesus.

Trust and believe = peace

Christ rules

Colossians 3:15 (ESV)
15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

The peace of Christ is amazing as even when the storms of life are raging we can still be at peace. Peace can come when we trust that Jesus is more than able to keep what we have committed into His hands. We can trust Jesus to bring us through the storm stronger and in victory. We must remember to be thankful for all that Jesus has done.

Thankful for Jesus’ unconditional love

Hurts

Proverbs 11:17 (ESV)

17 A man who is kind benefits himself,
but a cruel man hurts himself.

This scripture should be a wakeup call to us. How often have we been cruel to someone? Maybe our aches and pains have been caused by ourselves. When we are kind to others it benefits us in many ways, we will have kindness shown to us and who knows may be even our health will improve. God’s Word directs our path in all areas of our lives.

God’s Word enriches who we are

Watered

Proverbs 11:25 (ESV)

25 Whoever brings blessing will be enriched,
and one who waters will himself be watered.

This is another scripture that shows what we sow we will reap. Would we like to be blessed then we need to be blessing others. Do we need watering then we need to be watering others. We have no reason to say but we have nothing because Jesus has everything we need and He lives inside us. Jesus has equipped us with everything we need to sow.

We can start right know with the words we speak

Enriched

1 Corinthians 1:5 (ESV)

that in every way you were enriched in him in all speech and all knowledge—

We have been enriched with speech and knowledge in Jesus. So we have no need to worry when we are asked God questions. Jesus will even give us the knowledge when to say ‘I don’t know.’ We do not have to know everything. Where we are weak Jesus is strong so we have no need to worry about our speech either.

Jesus knows when we should talk and when we should listen

Not

Luke 6:37 (ESV)
37 “Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;

There is some really good advice in this scripture and it reminds us that what we sow we will reap. So if we do not want to be judged then we should not judge others. If we do not want to be condemned we should not condemn others. Then if we want to be forgiven then we need to forgive. Chose to be wise in how we look at others and chose to forgive as Jesus loves them just as much as you and me.

Jesus loves us all

Blood

Hebrews 13:12 (ESV)
12 So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood.

Sanctify-bless, purify, approve, dedicate.

Jesus shed His blood for us so that we can be blessed in all we do. Jesus’ blood washes us clean from our sin and from this world. Because of the blood we are accepted by God, accepted by the family of God, we have the stamp of approval. The blood joins us together with Jesus, we are His and He is ours we no longer go through this life alone.

Jesus suffered for us
