Dear Daughter,

Ready, steady, go.

Psalm 62:1

The Passion Translation

62 I stand silently to listen for the one I love,
waiting as long as it takes for the Lord to rescue me.
For God alone has become my Savior.

Jude 20

English Standard Version

20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,

While we wait, we can be building ourselves up, we can be talking to God and listening. We can prepare and get ready for the answer to come. Even in resting there is doing. We can rest in God’s love; we can rest in Jesus’ provision and we can rest in the comfort of Holy Spirit. But we need to be reading the Word, talking to Jesus and listening, which prepares us so that we can get on our mark ready to go.

Faith and prayer.

Your loving sister Amanda.

Dear Daughter,

Build.

Luke 6:48 ESV

48 he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.

John 15:5 TPT

“I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless.

Let us build from the foundation of Jesus our rock. Jesus is our source of all we need. As we establish our lives on and in Jesus, we will get the nutrients we need to live fruitfully. No storm can rock us or uproot us when Jesus is our source. Take time to allow your roots to become established in the author and finisher of our faith.

Endless power in Jesus, we can do this.

Dear Daughter,

Mercy.

John 11:25 ESV

25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,

1 Peter 1:3 TPT

Celebrate with praises the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has shown us his extravagant mercy. For his fountain of mercy has given us a new life—we are reborn to experience a living, energetic hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

Jesus died so that we can live a full life, here and now. God’s extravagant mercy has laid a foundation for us to build our lives upon. We have been made new like new born babies. Our past has been wiped out by the blood of Jesus. It is time to celebrate, praise and worship our Father God. Lift up holy hands, infuse our hearts with adoration, allow God to blow your mind with His awesomeness.

Choose to believe.

Dear Daughter,

Delight.

Psalm 119:143 ESV

143 Trouble and anguish have found me out,
but your commandments are my delight.

Psalm 37:4 TPT

Make God the utmost delight and pleasure of your life,
and he will provide for you what you desire the most.

The Word of God is my delight. It brings me peace and comfort in a troubled world. The Word brings corrections when I am off track. The Word builds me up and strengthens me for the battle ahead. I rest in the Word of God knowing that I will receive God’s wisdom and knowledge. The Word of God, more precious than gold and refines me to become more like Jesus.

God is the utmost delight and pleasure of my life.

Dear Daughter,

Love.

Philippians 2:1-2 ESV

So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.

Philemon 7 TPT

Your love has impacted me and brings me great joy and encouragement, for the hearts of the believers have been greatly refreshed through you, dear brother.

Love, it is all about love. God flows from love and we need to flow from love. When I love I do not want to hurt anyone. From love I can encourage and build up. Love impacts people; it helps them to see their worth. Love breaks walls and boundaries down. Love carries us through because we are in the palm of God almighties hands. We are greatly loved.

Being in full accord and of one mind.

Dear Daughter,

Blessed.

Luke 6:20-23 (ESV)

20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said:

“Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.

21 “Blessed are you who are hungry now, for you shall be satisfied.

“Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh.

22 “Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man! 23 Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for so their fathers did to the prophets.

This is The Good News. We have a good God who wants to bless us and build us up. We have a good Father that wants the best for us. Instead of hunger we will be satisfied, what is the instead you need today. Instead of sickness you are healed. What instead scriptures can you find to turn life around.

Blessed are you.

Dear Daughter,

Restore.

Joel 2:25 (ESV)

25 I will restore to you the years
that the swarming locust has eaten,
the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter,
my great army, which I sent among you.

1 Peter 5:10 (TPT)

10 And then, after your brief suffering, the God of all loving grace, who has called you to share in his eternal glory in Christ, will personally and powerfully restore you and make you stronger than ever. Yes, he will set you firmly in place and build you up.

We have a God of restoration. What has been taken from us, what has been destroyed, what have we lost? God will not only restore but it will be even better than before. Our God is faithful and good. Daddy will pick us up, clean us up, build us up and set us firmly in place. What testimonies are in the making? It only takes a tiny spark of light to bring an end to the darkness.

I will restore.

Dear Daughter,

Seek.

Jeremiah 29:11-14 (ESV)

11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. 13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.

Call on God now and listen for the answer. The answer is waiting for us. God promises that when we seek Him, we will find Him. God is not hiding from us. God wants to restore, build up and put us in our right place. Have you ever played hide and seek with an inpatient child? They laugh of make noises so that you can find them. God is beckoning come.

I will bring you back.

Dear Daughter,

Rest.

2 Chronicles 14:6 (ESV)

He built fortified cities in Judah, for the land had rest. He had no war in those years, for the Lord gave him peace.

Matthew 11:29 (TPT)

29 Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me.

God has given us peace and rest in Him. We can put down our roots, build and mature in Him because we are safe and secure in His arms. When we join our life to Him, we are united we can go nowhere or do anything alone anymore. We are no longer one but four (God, Son, Holy Spirit and us). I put my complete trust and faith in Him because He is worthy.

Refreshment and rest.

Dear Daughter,

Rejoice.

Philippians 3:1 (ESV)

Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you is no trouble to me and is safe for you.

Philippians 3:1 (TPT)

My beloved ones, don’t ever limit your joy or fail to rejoice in the wonderful experience of knowing our Lord Jesus!

I don’t mind repeating what I’ve already written you because it protects you—

I must admit I need reminding. But also, the deeper our relationship goes with God the deeper our understand will go so we need to revisit scripture. When I keep going over the same thing God is able to show me the meaning of His Word in greater detail. When I rejoice not only do I build on my relationship with God but it lifts me up and puts me in a greater place to receive from God. So, let me remind you to rejoice in all things because our God is greater.

‘Rejoice and again I say rejoice.’

Your loving sister Amanda.
