Romans 12:16 (ESV)

¹⁶ Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight.

Live in harmony with one another is not easy when we are all so different. Well it’s not easy in our own strength but if we focus on Jesus and look to Him for our example, then with practice it will get easier.

Associate with the lowly does that mean the smelly ones too? Yes. I was told not so long ago put a peg on your noise and go for it. In my own strength this would be hard but with Christ all things are possible.

How many times have you found yourself in a mess because you relied on your own wisdom? For me more times than I can count but when I turn my focus to Jesus He gets me out of the messes. When I turn to Jesus first I don’t get in the messes in the first place.
