The Shepherd-King

⁸ Listen, my radiant one—
    if you ever lose sight of me,
    just follow in my footsteps where I lead my lovers.
    Come with your burdens and cares.
    Come to the place near the sanctuary of my shepherds.

We are radiant in the beauty of our King, let us not lose sight of Him. But if we do, He leaves us His footprints to follow right back into His arms. As we snuggle into His chest, we can release all our burdens and cares. We can rest in His arms because He is in control and knows His plans and purposes.

Dear Daughter,

Time and again.

¹⁶ Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

2 John 3 TPT

³ God our Father and Jesus Christ, his Son, will release to us overflowing grace, mercy, and peace, filled with true love.

‘Time of need,’ I do not know about you but it always seems like I am in a time of need. Jesus does not mind how much we need Him. He is always there for us. So, let us go again to the throne of grace where Jesus sits knowing He will never turn us away. We can climb onto His lap and snuggle in as He wraps His mighty arms around us and we can stay there as long as we like.

Galatians 1:3-4 (TPT)

^3–4 I pray over you a release of the blessings of God’s undeserved kindness and total well-being that flows from our Father – God and from the Lord Jesus. He’s the Anointed Messiah who offered himself as the sacrifice for our sins! He has taken us out of this evil world system and set us free through our salvation, just as God desired.

I pray for you God’s undeserved kindness and total well-being. We can have total health; we can live in total health because health flows from the Father. Jesus lives in us and He is in total health. I choose to snuggle down into all God’s fullness and I will learn to live from there and go above and beyond all that I can think or imagine. Are you with me?

Still with me

    How precious and wonderful to consider
    that you cherish me constantly in your every thought!
    O God, your desires toward me are more
    than the grains of sand on every shore!
    When I awake each morning, you’re still with me.

Our Father never stops thinking about us He never gives up on us. The creator of the universe cherishes us constantly He never gets fed up with us. God wants us to understand how much we mean to Him so that we will go boldly to His thrown of grace and not only receive mercy but snuggle up on His lap. We can go to the thrown and God will wrap His arms around us and whisper gently to us how much He loves us.

³ Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,

We have a Father of compassion and of all comfort. Knowing that our God is always there to comfort us will help us to live in peace. Knowing that we have a God of comfort can see us through anything that lies ahead of us.

Compassion and Comfort

2 Corinthians 1:3 (NIV)

Praise to the God of All Comfort

³ Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,

Our Dad is full of compassion and all comfort so whether life is going well or not so good He is the best person to run to. We need compassion not sympathy as compassion will give a helping hand. Sympathy only helps us to wallow in our mess and get deeper into despair.

Praise the God of all comfort and He will comfort you through the hard times. We have a good God who wants to see us have a good, satisfied and long life. Our God is full of love for us and wants to help us through are everyday lives.
