³⁴ Now eat and be nourished. For you’ll all come through this ordeal without a scratch.”

Jesus our never ending supply, always ready. So, let us eat and be nourished for the journey ahead because we will come through without a scratch. Jesus can and will restore us and nourishes us through all of life. Jesus our perfect nutrition, vitamins and supply. Hold on tight to the Word of God and it will feed you, purify, lift up, edify and take us to maturity.

Now take up the Word.

Future.

¹¹ For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Romans 11:33 (TPT)

³³ Who could ever wrap their minds around the riches of God, the depth of his wisdom, and the marvel of his perfect knowledge? Who could ever explain the wonder of his decisions or search out the mysterious way he carries out his plans?

We have plans but how do they match up with God? Have we asked our Father what He has planned for our future? We are safe in God’s hands, we can trust Him with our future. As we go through life, we will have obstacles get in the way but we can use them to knock off our sharp edges, to purify us and help us grow into maturity. We have a future and hope, so we need to push through, so that when we are through, we give God all the glory by testifying to His greatness, faithfulness and love.

Purify

Titus 2:14 (ESV)

¹⁴ who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.

Jesus transferred our sins on to himself so that we can be purified that we can go boldly to the throne of grace. We have been set apart as Gods own people we belong to Him. Are we zealous for good works? Jesus has done His part are we willing to do our part?  In our good works let us show people our Jesus so they can be set free from sin.

Fire

Hebrews 12:29 (ESV)

²⁹ for our God is a consuming fire.

Gods is a consuming fire in our lives. God uses His fire to purify us like gold. God’s fire can destroy all sin in our lives. God’s fire can destroy all bad habits in our lives. God’s fire can also destroy our enemies.  God’s fire can light our way. God’s fire protects us and covers us with His glory. We need to rely on God He is our all-consuming Father.

Blood

¹² So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood.

Sanctify-bless, purify, approve, dedicate.

Jesus shed His blood for us so that we can be blessed in all we do. Jesus’ blood washes us clean from our sin and from this world. Because of the blood we are accepted by God, accepted by the family of God, we have the stamp of approval. The blood joins us together with Jesus, we are His and He is ours we no longer go through this life alone.

Dear Daughter of Almighty God

Draw near

James 4:8 (ESV)

⁸ Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Did you know that as you draw near to God He draws near to you? Gods not sitting back letting us do all the moving. As we take steps to be closer to God He starts moving closer to us because He wants to be so close to us that we can hear Him whisper to us. God has a still small voice so we need to be close to listen to all He says.

God wants a relationship with us, a close relationship, and an intimate relationship. The way we get this relationship is by reading the Word of God and talking to God. As you go about your everyday business you can be talking to God all the time asking about the decisions you are about to make, talking about what is on your mind and anything that comes along. God is interested in the small and big parts of our lives don’t keep anything back from Him. Yes He already knows but He wants us to tell Him to confide in Him.

As we draw close to God His Word will help us cleanse our hands and purify our hearts and we will no longer be double-Minded. The closer we get to God the more we will trust Him with all that we are and all that we have done wrong. As we get closer we will go boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy so we can be cleaned and purified. We will be so sure of the Word of God that there will be no room for doubt.
