²² Don’t just listen to the Word of Truth and not respond to it, for that is the essence of self-deception. So always let his Word become like poetry written and fulfilled by your life!

We are now God’s messengers to prepare the way for people to receive Jesus. We are to go forward in truth and love. Our hearts are to be prepared with the love of Jesus so that we can give it out. The Word of God has been given to us so that we can prepare, so that we can make ready. Let us live The Word of God so that people can read us and know that there is a loving God who is for them.

³ A thunderous voice cries out in the wilderness:
    “Prepare the way for Yahweh’s arrival!
    Make a highway straight through the desert for our God!

Do you hear that voice from within ‘prepare the way for the Lord?’ We need to prepare our hearts and get ready for all that God wants to do in our lives. We need to be ready and willing to go forward, take that step of faith. Prepare to listen, learn and take action. We are part of a living breathing body that needs to move and gain strength.

The Holy Spirit whispers from within us ‘prepare.’

God is prepared, are we? We prepare by reading The Word of God and by having a conversation with God. Prayer is not one sided, we talk and then we need to listen. God wants to talk to us and help us prepare. God knows what is up ahead. He is the one who can guide us through. Make ready, prepare God is on His way.

¹³ For you formed my inward parts;
    you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.

Encounter Jesus anew today, keep moving forward. Refuse to be feeble in heart again, draw Jesus into the temple (our bodies). Remember the day we were given new birth because of Jesus. Jesus renews our most innermost parts and works His way out showering us in His love as we go. He formed us. He knows what is needed, trust.

I choose to arise and seek my Lord because I know I will find Him. If He has hid Himself from me then it is so I will go looking, so I can grow and mature. All the time our God guides us, even when we think we are lost. Our Jesus lives inside of us so we do not have to look too far to find Him but we need to seek.

This book of the bible is like a love letter from God to us. God declares His undying love for us. God invites us to join Him for a destiny that only He can fulfil. God beckons us to come to Him and run with Him. We are invited to have the time of our lives on an adventure that only God can plan. Will we choose to arise and run?

Our Daddy and Jesus come to us in truth and love. We can trust them beyond measure. Choose today to fall in love with them all over again, renewing and refreshing love will rain on us. No matter where we are from, what we have done we are loved, truly loved. Sing out in praise and worship to a God of love, to a God who holds us in His hands, to a God worthy of all honour and praise.

Run away together into the presence of the King of kings.

Our Father sings love songs over us, He sings of our beauty and grace. Any relationship takes time and effort to keep alive and flourishing. How much time do we spend talking with Daddy? How much time do we spend getting to know Him better? Do we spend more time on Social Media? We are to keep ourselves in love with God, it takes choice, effort, time and commitment.

It will be the best decision we will ever make in our lives, time with Jesus.

²⁵ But those who set their gaze deeply into the perfecting law of liberty are fascinated by and respond to the truth they hear and are strengthened by it—they experience God’s blessing in all that they do!

Set your eyes on The Word of God, the law of freedom. The truth in The Word will set us free, give us strength and blessings beyond comparison. Our God has prepared the way and from our place of rest in Him we are more than conquerors. No weapon formed against us can prosper because we have a Daddy who has prepared and is ready. Take up your armour, get ready it is time.

¹⁵ For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel,
“In returning and rest you shall be saved;
    in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.”
But you were unwilling,

Psalm 62:1 TPT

62 I stand silently to listen for the one I love,
    waiting as long as it takes for the Lord to rescue me.
    For God alone has become my Savior.

Let’s not be found unwilling. In rest we are saved from our own works, which I don’t know about you but I always mess it up. Let us rest in the knowledge that God is more than able and very willing to complete what He has started in us. Quiet, rest, waiting and trusting is a strength, keep going we will get there.
