Dear Daughter of Almighty God

Walk in

Ephesians 4:1-3 (ESV)

I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

We all have a calling we just need to know what it is and we find out by getting in to the Word of God. In this scripture it describes our calling and urges us to walk in it in a manner worthy to which we have been called.

Humility – humbleness, modesty, unassuming nature, and meekness.

Bearing – manner, behaviour, attitude, air, component, deportment, demeanour and posture.

We should walk in our calling in modesty not saying look at me and being gentle as we go about our business. We need to be patient which is not always easy but it is doable because God asks us to do it and He asks us to do nothing that He has not already equipped us for.

We should have an attitude of love in our calling and be eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. We need to be united in Spirit and our bond is peace with one another. In any family peace can be a problem as we are all so different even when related. Being part of the family of God we do not have to rely on ourselves to have the strength wisdom or knowledge to keep the peace.

With God on our side and the Holy Spirit to call on we can keep the peace with one another but we do need to ask for the help. God needs to work with us; we need to be speaking words of faith, believing the Word of God and put action to our words.

God meets us where we are.
