Dear Daughter of Almighty God

James 1:22-25 (ESV)

22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. 24 For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like.25 But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.

Listening is very important but if we only listen to God and don’t put into action what He is saying we will not grow or move on in all that God has for us. If I am sick the Word of God says I am healed by Jesus’ stripes, what a nice sentence. I could leave it at nice words, that was good of Jesus to do that for me. That sort of thinking will keep me sick. I need to tell that sickness what the Word of God says and keep saying it until my body comes in to line with the Word of God.

The facts may be that I am sick but the truth of God’s Word is that I am healed. Gods Words are unchangeable the things of this world are temporary which means when you apply the Word of God that the things of this world have to change. How long do we need to stand firm and steadfast on God’s Word, as long as it takes? God does not give time frames, God is not limited by time but we can limit God with are thinking and unbelief.

How do we take the limits off are thinking, how do we change are unbelief to standing in faith? Reading the Word of God, listening to Word preachers and speaking out the Word of God with our own mouths. We take more notice of the words we speak than the words others speak.

Be a doer and be blessed.

Your loving sister Amanda
