Dear Daughter of Almighty God
Psalm 50:23 (ESV)
23 The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me; to one who orders his way rightly
I will show the salvation of God!”
Our thanksgiving is a sacrifice when we choose to thank God even when things are going wrong, even when we don’t feel like it. Thanking God changes our situations it changes the way we feel and the way we deal with what is in front of us.
Thanksgiving gets us in tune with God and how He wants us to go forward. Thanksgiving builds us and helps us to grow. Thanksgiving takes us to places in God that nothing else can. Thanksgiving lifts the heart; it brings a light in to our very spirits.
Thanking God for answers to prayer before we have it is thanking God in faith that it is already done. When we thank God in this way are answers come quicker and we go through the waiting with better attitudes and with more patience.
If Paul can thank and praise God through all he went through then so can we. We are not sat in a dark damp smelly dungeon (prison cell) with soldiers chained to us.
Choose to thank and praise God in all situations.
